BlueSPACE Announces BlueNODE Public and iDX at AWS Public Sector Event
ACCRA, GHANA — BlueSPACE Financial CLOUD has announced BlueNODE Public powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS) and iDX—Intelligent DataXchange, powered by SnapLogic, at the AWS Data & AI Public Sector RoundTable Discussion. The new proposition will help Ghana’s government institutions, banks, insurers, fintech companies and payment-service providers connect fragmented systems, use cloud and artificial intelligence, and modernise financial infrastructure while retaining control of mission-critical applications and sovereign data.
BlueSPACE is proposing a sovereign hybrid-cloud model under which Ghana’s national payment, treasury, revenue, regulatory and financial systems remain within approved on-premises or locally controlled environments. BlueNODE Public will provide access to AWS cloud and AI services for authorised workloads, while iDX will securely connect applications, APIs, databases and information across public-cloud and locally controlled environments.
BlueNODE Public will enable institutions to use AWS capabilities for approved digital services, analytics, artificial intelligence, elastic computing, development, testing and selected resilience requirements.
iDX—Intelligent DataXchange is powered by the SnapLogic Platform for Agentic Integration, providing the governed integration and orchestration layer between core banking, payment, treasury, regulatory and digital systems. A self-managed IDX runtime can be deployed within the locally controlled environment, including infrastructure such as AWS Outposts. This allows integration workloads to run close to source systems, connect private endpoints and expose secure, reusable APIs across hybrid environments. For fraud and financial-crime use cases, iDX can orchestrate the real-time exchange of transaction and customer information between core banking and payment platforms, specialist fraud and AML systems, regulatory services and operational workflows. This can help institutions improve fraud detection, payment reconciliation, case management and regulatory reporting while retaining control of sensitive information. The initial focus will be Ghana’s public and private financial-services ecosystem, including national treasury management, government revenue and expenditure, banking, insurance, pensions, fintech, regulatory reporting and national payment and settlement systems.
The proposition can support consolidated government cash visibility, revenue and expenditure reporting, treasury forecasting, payment reconciliation, fraud intelligence, regulatory supervision and more efficient financial operations. BlueSPACE has also called for the progressive development of a sovereign local cloud for Ghana. This infrastructure would provide locally controlled computing, data storage, cybersecurity, resilience and disaster recovery for national and regulated workloads that should not operate solely in an offshore public-cloud environment. “Ghana should not have to choose between sovereign control and global innovation,” said Samuel Amanor Founder & CEO BlueSPACE. “Mission-critical applications and sensitive national data can remain locally controlled, while BlueNODE Public and iDX provide secure access to cloud, integration, analytics and artificial intelligence.”
